The Rhodes House rooftop is for residents to use and enjoy.

Please read below for some general information and rules.


Facilities

 

The rooftop entertainment area is defined as part of the common property that includes the community room and kitchen, gymnasium, swimming pool, sauna, tennis court, BBQ areas, decks, and surrounding grounds.

Children under the age of 12 years may use the rooftop entertainment area only if accompanied and supervised by an adult.

Hours of Operation

The rooftop entertainment area is open from 5:30am to 11:30pm, seven days a week, unless otherwise specified.

Access

Access is via the lift or fire stairs. Your swipe card is required for access and will not work outside the hours of operation.

BBQs

Please be considerate to others who may be waiting to use the BBQ at busy times and clean thoroughly after each use.

Gym

The gym and equipment is for the use of residents only.

Ensure care is taken at all times while using the equipment. For your own safety please read the training information located on the wall carefully. In accordance with gym safe practices, you are required to have a towel with you while using the equipment and to wipe down contact surfaces thoroughly after use.

You should always consult your physician or other healthcare provider before starting an exercise program.

Using the gym equipment means that you assume full responsibility for any and all injuries, losses and damages that you may incur while using the gym and equipment.

Pool

As this pool is a lap pool, preference is given to people who wish to use it for exercise.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult exercising effective control over them.

Running, diving, or behaving in a manner that interferes with the peaceful use of the facility by others is not allowed.

Users must shower before entering the pool, and dry off completely before entering the lifts and corridors.

Food and drinks are not permitted in the pool area other than water in a sealed plastic container.

Colour-fast swimming apparel must be worn when in the pool.

Sauna

Please follow the operating instructions located near the control panel. For further assistance with the operation of the sauna, please contact Building Management.

Do not use the sauna if you have consumed alcohol.

Only stay in the sauna for as long as you feel comfortable.

People with heart problems or acute illnesses should consult their physician before taking a sauna.

Use of the sauna means that you assume full responsibility for any and all injuries, losses and damages that you may incur.

Tennis Court

Residents are able to book the tennis court in 1-hour blocks during daylight hours only.
